In
1969, Lew Daly founded Syracuse Research & Development Corporation (SR&DC)
to supply new product research, engineering, design, development and
prototype capabilities to industry. In 1982, Lew founded Triad as a
manufacturing facility to produce a proprietary line of commercial
products designed and developed by SR&DC. The primary focus of these
products was to enable people with infirmities and disabilities the
ability to enter and exit public swimming pools independently. Triad then
expanded its capabilities to develop and manufacture parts and components
for outside industrial clients using the same processes and technology.
Today, Triad has manufacturing operations in Upstate New York occupying
over 60,000 square feet serving clients in the
transportation,
simulation,
amusement,
marine,
electrical enclosure,
recreation,
hospitality and
medical device
industries. Triad has a broad range of manufacturing capabilities to fit
just about any FRP need. Specializing in "cradle to grave" manufacturing
solutions, Triad is a "full service" manufacturer providing design,
engineering, tooling and production services to its clients.
A segment of Triad's proprietary line of products include the highly
successful Easy
Ladder® & Transfer
Tier®. The success of these products as been attributed to years of
close work with government agencies, universities and institutions as well
as other advisory groups focused on providing accessibility in public
places across the nation and in Canada. These products have set standards
for unsurpassed quality and function and are used in some training and
educational centers throughout North America. Other Triad products include
the Deck Stor-A-Way®,
the Towel King™ and the
MarineGear™ line of public dock box systems. With several new products in
the works that follow the same principals for ingenuity, design and
function, Triad is poised for continued growth and success into the next
century and beyond.
